Ashley Parrish is an Emmy nominated and award-winning digital executive, strategist and educator. She is Senior Vice President of Commerce for the NBCU News Group, which consists of NBC News, CNBC and TODAY, America’s favorite morning show. Ashley developed the group's multi-million dollar commerce unit, building high performing editorial and business teams, editorial visions and operating strategies and delivering revenue and results from day one.

With a rare and distinct background that spans across TV, Print, Digital and Commerce, Ashley has a unique perspective that brings a strong understanding of both business and creative arenas to work together within a collaborative approach. This experience has enabled her to build best-in-class editorial and strategy teams, manage eight figure P&Ls and develop groundbreaking content experiences that result in both profit and brand growth.

Her work has been instrumental in expanding the footprints of iconic lifestyle brands across commerce, web, mobile, social, and email platforms. She was formerly Executive Producer and Vice President managing the digital operations of TODAY where she built audience engagement, expanded brand growth and profit.

Prior to that, Ashley was the Editor-in-Chief of DailyCandy where she led the editorial voice, vision, and business strategy. She optimized the brand’s digital offerings with a focus on increasing engagement and digital revenue.

Early in her career, Ashley was the Content Director for the Women and Teen Networks at Hearst Digital Media where she first launched and then later directed and managed the digital operations of Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, and Seventeen magazines. During her tenure at Hearst Digital Media, the Women and Teen Networks enjoyed record traffic highs and received multiple awards and accolades for their website content and style.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys sharing her expansive business expertise as a board member. She is also an adjunct professor at her alma mater, New York University.
