The team led integrated partnerships within scripted series like Friday Night Lights, 30 Rock, and Heroes, plus multiple sponsorships for unscripted shows including The Apprentice, The Biggest Loser, Deal or No Deal and more. These partnerships helped secure multi-million dollar deals for the sales organization and were industry leading in broadcast television.

Nelson began her career as a media planner at Young & Rubicam and Margeotes, Ferttita + Partners on accounts varying from traditional Packaged Goods, Government, Entertainment, Regional Wireless Service and multiple digital startups.
