Thomas (Tom) Gargiulo joined BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition (BASN) as Chief Marketing Officer in 2023, leading all marketing functions for Coca Cola’s Sports Drink BrandsBODYARMOR and Powerade. Gargiulo has led the growth of BODYARMOR through marketing campaigns, creative brand building, social media, advertising, and valuable athlete, league and media partnerships. Additionally, Tom spearheaded BASN’s global marketing expansion, overseeing BODYARMOR’s entrance into Canada in 2024 and its upcoming launch in Mexico later in the year. Before joining BASN, Gargiulo served as the Chief Operating Officer at Nick’s, a food-tech startup where he established a co-manufacturing and supply chain network for the company. Prior to Nick’s, Gargiulo was a Senior Vice President at KIND, first in marketing and eventually as Senior Vice President for commercial strategy, executing partnerships with Delta Air Lines and Starbucks. Gargiulo also was the CMO at Danone and activated the launch of Two Good and Oikos Triple Zero yogurts. Early in his career, Gargulio worked in marketing at the NFL. Born and raised in Montclair, NJ with two older brothers, Gargiulo played baseball throughout high school and went on to attend Holy Cross, majoring in Political Science. Following his undergrad, he received his MBA at Emory University. Gargiulo moved back to New Jersey, residing in the town of Ridgewood with his wife, two children and dog Hazel. Outside of work, Gargiulo enjoys spending time with his family, and playing soccer, hockey and football with his kids.
