Michelle Garcia is Senior Vice President of Marketing for Paramount Streaming. Based in New
York, she oversees brand, platform media, partnerships, lifecycle, product marketing and
operations to drive the Paramount+ brand and business forward. In 2021, Garcia was
instrumental to the launch of Paramount+ across all distributed platforms and drove net active
subscription growth. She has led several first-to-market partnerships, including Walmart+ and
Delta, driving acquisition, retention and engagement for the fastest growing streaming service
since its launch.
Garcia is a seasoned, direct-to-consumer marketing executive with over 20 years of experience
building brands and connecting consumers to the content they love. She previously served as
Vice President, Consumer Marketing of Real Simple, Cooking Light and Health. She rose
through the ranks starting out in the development and implementation for TIME Magazine’s
first-ever multicultural consumer marketing initiative and ended her tenure there leading a team
to maximize consumer driven revenue across multiple women’s lifestyle brands.
Garcia earned a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the The Wharton School of Business at the University of
Pennsylvania. She is a proud first-generation Cuban American who grew up in New Jersey,
where she continues to reside with her husband and two children.
