Deborah Brett is the Global Chief Business Officer, Digital of Condé Nast, leading revenue strategy, innovation, data, measurement, platform distribution, and operations across Condé Nast’s full brand portfolio. She is responsible for the critical work to globalize Condé Nast’s digital advertising business across 32 markets, ushering in a new era for the company. Brett played a pivotal role in successfully shifting the legacy print media company’s advertising revenue to a digital-first model, revamping the digital operation of the commercial org, as well as implementing scaled ad product, data innovation, programmatic and yield practices. She also manages the social and platform partnerships that power Condé Nast’s industry-leading tentpoles, branded content, and e-commerce business units, constantly evolving the monetization models that enable brands and advertisers to meet consumers where they are in meaningful ways. As Condé Nast continues to evolve globally, navigates challenges like privacy and consent, and seizes upon opportunities like web 3 and artificial intelligence, Brett serves as a trusted expert and operator at the forefront of the industry. Brett came to the company in 2019, continuing a long career dedicated to helping legacy media models transform into digital-first businesses. Her previous work experience includes advertising agency and ad tech start up experience, as well as 13 years at Viacom Media Networks (now Paramount), where she held leadership roles in digital sales, business development, operations, and innovation.
