Ivan Pollard is the leader of the Marketing & Communications Center at The Conference Board, a not-for-profit think tank.

Ivan was most recently, the Global Chief Marketing Officer of General Mills, a $20bn food company.

Previously, he held senior marketing roles both globally and in North America with the Coca-Cola Company.

His career began in advertising and media. He spent time working at renowned agencies such as Wieden+Kennedy, in Amsterdam and Boase Massimi Pollitt in London.

He opened his own business in the mid-90s called Unity, which initiated the discipline of Connections Planning. He has worked on projects such as the launch of Star Wars Episodes I, II and III for Lucasfilm and Coca-Cola’s activation of multiple FIFA World Cups and Olympic Games.
