The NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four just broke all kinds of viewership records. Though viewership of women’s sports has steadily been increasing, with the biggest year-over-year growth coming from Gen Z, coverage of it has remained the same since the 80’s. Audiences want more access and opportunity to watch, so they are turning to the relevant voices of social content creators and publishers to fill that gap. A significant 78% of sports fans plan to watch women’s sports in 2023, especially with this year’s upcoming Women’s World Cup.

In this workshop, Katie Cook, Senior Director of Global Marketing at Team Whistle is joined by Annie Agar, Creator and NFL/CFB nation-wide correspondent, as they break down how brands can create content around women’s sports across social, why it’s a savvy investment, best practices to work with creators, and the future of the space.
