Alphonzo “Phonz” Terrell is the Co-founder and CEO of SPILL, a new visual conversation app that is the de facto place to discuss and discover culture.
Phonz is a Cannes Lions, Clio, OneShow and 2x Webby Award winning creative executive, most recently having led the 27-person Twitter Social & Editorial team which won “Best Overall Social - Brand” at the 2022 Webby Awards. Prior to this, he led award-winning teams at HBO, Showtime, Def Jam, and Sony Music, in addition to investing and advising several minority-led startups in the Brooklyn, NY area.
He currently resides in Los Angeles and is @phonz on SPILL.
