Rachel Apirian is the Head of Social Media and Content Marketing at The Female Quotient (The FQ), an equality services organization that creates experiences, media, and research for Fortune 500 companies and conscious leaders committed to closing the gender gap. Named Social Media Manager of the Year in 2023 by The Stevie Awards, Apirian leads the The FQ brand social content strategy; directing and developing social and digital creative across 11 channels.
Since joining The FQ in 2018, Apirian has been instrumental in organically expanding the brand’s digital footprint from 20k followers to a community of over 4 million globally. Her contributions have helped to grow The FQ from a predominantly events driven business to launching expanded media offerings for brands who want to meaningfully engage with women across industries. In 2023, under Apirian’s guidance, The FQ’s digital channels experienced 146M average social impressions per month, 3x the average industry engagement, and 431% annual audience growth.
Prior to joining The FQ, Apirian led digital at designer luxury fashion brands including LVMH/ The Donna Karan Company and Natori. Her passion lies in telling stories that deeply resonate with and inspire women. Apirian is adamant about using social media for good – inspiring the next generation of leaders and educating women around the world so that together, we can close the gender gap.
