Bamidele Idowu is a Social Media Manager at ESPN, based in the New York office. Bamidele studied at Syracuse University, majoring in Broadcast Digital Journalism and Information Management & Technology. With over seven years of experience as a social media and marketing expert, Bamidele has worked with ESPN, the New York Knicks, and a startup tech company called Buzzer. Bamidele believes that social media should be enjoyable, and that the best content is always authentic to the brand and the expert creating it. At ESPN, Bamidele manages a team of 10+ during live events, optimizing content for several of ESPN’s social channels. Outside of crafting social media campaigns, Bamidele enjoys watching the New York Knicks with family and friends.
