Jared Shulman leads the Strategy practice at CAA Brand Consulting, based in New York City. In this role he and his team, work across all clients to interrogate their biggest challenges and develop culturally relevant solutions for brands to form deeper, more valuable connections with their audiences, both current and new. Additionally, Jared taps into his extensive content strategy experience to help brands like Adobe, Chase, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Google and T-Mobile tell their unique brand stories through the lens of Sports and Entertainment partnerships.
After completing his MBA at UCLA - Anderson School of Management, Jared went on to work at Mattel, the largest toy company in the world. Here he honed his marketing skills on staple brands such as Hot Wheels and Matchbox and managed the launch of an extensive product line supporting Warner Bros third installment of the Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises.
After three years, Jared was recruited by CAA as an Executive in the Entertainment Marketing Group. Here he led entertainment strategy, partnerships, talent relations and content development for clients such as The Coca-Cola Company and Southwest Airlines.
In 2015, Jared joined ACE, Anomaly’s content-first sister agency, as the Head of Client Services and Strategy, overseeing relationships with Marriott, S.Pellegrino and New Balance to name a few.
Jared next teamed up with film veterans John Sloss (Cinetic Media) and David Gordon Green (Rough House Pictures) to launch Brand New Story, a content advisory company that helps brands create, market, and distribute impactful, premium, long-form entertainment. Here he successfully released films with Ford, Verizon, and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
In 2021, Jared rejoined CAA and hasn’t looked back. In his free time, Jared and his husband Baker can be found upstate New York fixing up their 100-year-old cottage or out hiking with their rescue dog, Martin.
