Kristy Caylor is an entrepreneur, fashion innovator, and sustainability visionary. She brings a unique understanding of the circular economy and an extensive background in fashion to For Days.



Previously, Caylor co-founded Maiyet, a pioneering luxury brand that seamlessly integrated world class design with a transformative social philosophy. As president, Caylor built a global artisan supply chain, launched Maiyet on the Paris runway, opened a store in New York’s Soho neighborhood, and sold the collection to major retailers including Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks.

Caylor spent her early career launching and growing businesses for Gap, Inc. including Banana Republic Petites, Banana Republic Japan, and was instrumental in leading Gap’s Product (RED) division.



She is a member of the CFDA, has worked with the Lexus Fashion Initiative advisory board, Cradle to Cradle’s Fashion + and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Textile Initiative.
In 2014, she was recognized by the Voss Foundation as the Woman Helping Women Honoree and regularly participated with the UN Foundation. In 2016 Caylor was appointed to the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Consumerism, and was invited to speak on the SXSW 2018 panel “Sustainability or Bust: The Future of Brands.” Since launching in For Days in 2018, Caylor was named to the Glossy 50: Fashion Digital Front Runners and For Days was named as one of Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas.
Caylor holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BS in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Fine Arts Painting from Northwestern University.
