Leah Wyar is President of the Entertainment Group at Dotdash Meredith where she leads the People, Entertainment Weekly, and People en Español brands. Leah has been with the company since 2019 and was previously the SVP and General Manager of Dotdash’s beauty and style brands, Byrdie and Brides. Before joining Dotdash Meredith, Leah was the Chief Beauty Director of Hearst, where she oversaw the content for 12 brands that collectively reached over 20 million monthly users, including Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Women’s Health.
Leah has nearly 20 years of experience in the media and publishing industries. She has written for several publications including Cosmopolitan, Self and Health magazines and has appeared on numerous television shows such as Today and Good Morning America. She was also a judge on season two of Lifetime’s American Beauty Star, a competition show focusing on emerging talent in the beauty industry.
Leah graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Susquehanna University and lives in New York City
