Greg Glenday is CEO of Acast, the world’s largest independent podcast company. He joined Acast's management team in 2023 as Chief Business Officer, where his leadership was instrumental in transforming the company's US operations and achieving positive EBITDA for the first time in its ten-year history. He was appointed CEO in summer 2025.
Glenday has over a decade of global C-level experience. Prior to Acast, he served as CEO of Lightbox and as Chief Revenue Officer of Shazam, the music recognition app acquired by Apple. Earlier in his career, he spent eighteen years with Clear Channel/iHeartMedia with the last five as President of the Connections Team, where they developed award-winning advertising programs. He was also recognized on the "Mediaweek 50" list of innovative executives shaping the future of media, and the Hollywood Reporter list of The Most Powerful People in Podcasting for 2024. Glenday is known for his results-oriented leadership, deep industry understanding, and proven ability to scale operations globally.
Glenday lives in Connecticut with his wife of 20+ years, and three teen children. He has a BA from The University of Notre Dame.
