From Choosy Moms choose Jif to Always #LikeaGirl campaigns, Karuna has helped some of the world’s biggest brands find and express their true purpose. The common thread is her ability to build from a blank sheet of paper to do what hasn’t been done before. Building new capabilities like Shopper Marketing for P&G and Shopper journeys for Leo Burnett, Karuna has led her teams and companies to new industry leading innovations and capabilities. Now as Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of food tech unicorn Nature’s Fynd, she is bringing her talents as a brand builder and innovator to commercialize a new-to-the-world protein that can help feed our growing population in the face of climate change. Creating a better more sustainable food system with the resiliency to feed future generations is what gets Karuna excited to work at Nature’s Fynd every day. Karuna won 14 Lions at Cannes and an Emmy for Outstanding Television Commercial for P&G’s Always #LikeaGirl campaign. She was recently recognized as a Woman of Influence by Chicago Business Journal, as Forbes CMO NEXT 50 Game-changing Marketers and as a Trailblazer Mom by Adweek’s Working Mothers of the Year. Karuna started her career in brand management at P&G Food & Beverage after graduating from Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
