Ben Rissman joined the University of Chicago in 2017. As Chief Digital Marketing Officer, he is focused on building broader understanding of UChicago as a leading global research university. In this strategic role, Ben has shaped the University’s brand architecture while also overseeing its delivery through the development of award-winning content and best in class digital channels. His expertise is leveraged to guide strategic marketing and communications planning for schools and divisions across the campus. Ben is also responsible for driving the adoption of innovative technologies that advance engagement with key stakeholders.
Prior to joining UChicago, he spent the past decade leading global marketing agencies where he built and managed teams focused on leveraging digital marketing, social media, and interactive content to transform marketing capabilities.
