Julie Bramham is one of the leading marketeers in the world of Scotch Whisky. Responsible for leading the global marketing of Johnnie Walker, she took on this prestigious role in the year that Johnnie Walker celebrated its 200-year anniversary.
Julie is responsible for the brand performance of Johnnie Walker: from driving growth across the 180 countries it operates in, creating engaging communications, to recruiting the next generation of consumers into the brand and pioneering product innovation and sustainability strategies.
She also led the brand as it launched the Johnnie Walker Princes Street global visitor attraction in Edinburgh – part of Diageo’s £185m investment in Scotch whisky tourism.
Julie’s career at Diageo spans 24 years, 14 of which have been devoted to Scotch. Highlights include her role as Chief Marketing Officer in India – a vital market for Scotch whisky – where she led the growth of Diageo’s Scotch portfolio and building the reputation of the wider industry in one of the most important markets in the world. Since coming into role as Global Brand Director, she launched the latest chapter of the iconic Johnnie Walker Keep Walking campaign, which has driven the brand to further heights around the world with its rallying cry of progress.
