Stuart Duguid is the co-founder of the talent management agency EVOLVE and the Emmy Award-nominated production company Hana Kuma alongside his business partner, tennis champion Naomi Osaka. He has been a tennis agent since 2010, spending the previous six years as Senior Vice President at IMG, earning recognition and accolades, including Sports Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree in 2021.
Duguid played a pivotal role in managing Osaka’s meteoric rise to global superstardom and numerous Grand Slam victories. His achievements include an unprecedented Nike deal that allowed third-party logos and helped make Osaka the first female athlete to exceed $50 million in annual earnings.
The Duke University School of Law graduate is a strong advocate for advancing women’s sports, with a strategic investment in the North Carolina Courage NWSL team and the launch of Osaka’s Play Academy, a charitable venture to increase girls’ participation in sports. Additionally, Duguid sits on the board of KINLÒ, a sun care product for people of color.
