Angel City Football Club (ACFC)
General Manager Angela Hucles Mangano is a retired USWNT player, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and Angel City founding investor. In her critical role as GM, Hucles Mangano oversees the sporting vision of the club, coaching and the first team, player care, medical and performance, sports science, soccer operations, and all wellness programs and resources.
A longstanding member of the US Women’s National Team, Hucles Mangano's international career included 109 caps and two Olympic gold medals. In 2009, Hucles was named the U.S. Soccer Foundation Humanitarian of the Year. In 2015, she served as the president of the Women’s Sports Foundation. She played college soccer at the University of Virginia, where she was a four-year all-ACC player and tallied 59 goals, including a record 19 game-winners. She is still Virginia's record holder in career goals, game-winning goals, and total points.
Off the pitch, Hucles Mangano ran a successful real estate group with her wife Meg Mangano. She has commentated LAFC games and worked as the lead women’s soccer analyst for ESPN’s ACC Network, NBC Olympics Olympics (2012–present), and FOX Soccer Women’s World Cups (2015–present).
Outside of ACFC, the Virginia Beach, Virginia native, enjoys spending everyday adventures with her family, including her two children.
