Jim is President & Chief Strategy Officer of eko, a SaaS company that provides retailers and brands the ability to create and manage shoppable, interactive video-based customer experiences by uniquely blending the art of storytelling with the power of choice. Previously, he was CEO of Canesta, which invented a low-cost 3D sensing technology enabling machines to see. He led the company from 2006 through its successful sale in 2010 to Microsoft for use in Xbox One Kinect devices.

Earlier in his career, he honed his skills in business development and product management roles in large companies such as Microsoft and General Instrument/Motorola. Jim has an MBA from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth and a BS in Electrical Engineering from NC State.

He currently serves as a Board Member and Executive Advisor to disruptive technology companies.
