Ian Mallitz is a producer and director for The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA. There, he develops, manages, and produces live-action and clip-based content for the Global Marketing Partnerships & Promotions team. With over two decades of proven media success, he draws on deep experience across feature films, TV, digital, live events, content development, and integrated marketing. Mr. Mallitz’s unique value lies in his dual expertise in custom content and entertainment marketing, which enables him to bridge the worlds of business goals and creative vision. His extensive experience working for both major studios/networks and independent creative agencies gives him uncommon insight into navigating—and reconciling—the needs of all stakeholders. As a producer, director, showrunner, and head of production, Mr. Mallitz spent a large portion of his career developing and producing television series and documentaries for networks that include History, CBS, Discovery, A&E, and Comedy Central. He also produced in-house for MTV, VH1, and NBC Universal before joining the studio team at Disney in 2019.
