Eugene Lee has a personal passion and interest in all things media and technology.  This, along with an overall intellectual curiosity, motivates him to align client strategy with media strategy, identifying media tactics and channels that work for the toughest client situations and challenges.  He is responsible for the global operations and account leadership for CMI Media Group and Compas, Inc. across all clients. Lee has been with CMI Media Group and Compas since 1994 and assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2019.  He has been extremely dedicated to the growth, development and expansion of the entire Media, New Media, Analytics, Strategy and Operational teams in both the people and capabilities.  He plays a critical role across the organization’s entire book of business. Lee has been a pivotal figure in introducing innovation to CMI Media Group and Compas in his tenure with the company. He identified the need for programmatic in healthcare and helped the company introduce an industry first programmatic platform. He was a key leader in introducing the company’s first analytics group and was instrumental in several other proprietary and award-winning services across media, search and social. In the early days of his experience with the company, he introduced the first digital services. Lee has been recognized as an innovator with the PharmaVOICE 100 award and is on the board of the Association of Medical Media. He is a frequent event speaker, including SXSW, and contributor to industry publications. He has also served as a Digital Health Coalition Digital Health Scholar.
