In his current role as Chief Growth and Marketing Officer of Chime, Vineet leads both the company’s marketing and broader growth agenda. In this capacity, he is responsible not only for building Chime’s brand and performance engine, but also for driving overall business growth - overseeing member acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty across the full customer lifecycle. He is harnessing the power of innovation, data-driven media, product-led growth, and cultural storytelling to scale Chime’s reach, deepen member relationships, and continue to disrupt long-standing industry incumbents.

Since joining Chime in 2022, Vineet has helped elevate the brand’s awareness and cultural relevance to unprecedented levels. Under his leadership, Chime launched category innovations including Chime Card and MyPay, and was named TIME’s #1 Banking Brand, one of Fast Company’s 2025 Brands That Matter, and the #1 Most Loved Banking App in the U.S.

Prior to Chime, Vineet was the Global Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA), where he helped steer the $100B global organization through COVID by accelerating the digitalization and personalization of the retail pharmacy customer experience during the peak of the pandemic. Before that, he was Chief Growth Officer at Ancestry, where he reinvigorated the brand through the launch of AncestryDNA, creating an entirely new consumer genomics category and bringing it into the cultural mainstream.

Earlier in his career, Vineet spent over a decade building and leading some of the world’s most iconic brands at Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson. At J&J, he served as Global President of the multi-billion-dollar Baby Care Division as well as Global President of Marketing, overseeing more than $3 billion in global media and marketing spend.

Vineet’s impact has earned him accolades such as Fortune’s 50 Most Influential CMOs, Forbes’ 50 Most Entrepreneurial CMOs, Business Insider’s Most Innovative CMOs, Adweek’s Top 20 Tech CMOs, Ad Age’s 40 Under 40, and he is a frequent speaker at global industry forums including the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. Vineet also dedicates his time and leadership to shaping the future of the marketing industry. He currently serves on the Effie Lions Foundation, after completing a three-year term as Global Chairman of the Board for Effie Worldwide. He is a member of the Global Board of Directors for the MMA, and contributes his perspective to leading industry councils including the Adweek Marketing Vanguard, the WSJ CMO Council, and the Ad Council. He also advises some of the most important and innovative companies in the sector, including Spotify, Knotch, and Pixis.ai, a SoftBank-backed marketing AI automation platform. As a public board director, Vineet serves on both the Compensation and Audit Committees for LoveSac (NASDAQ: LOVE), the fastest-growing DTC omnichannel furniture brand in the U.S.

Outside of work, Vineet has dreams of becoming a pizzaiolo, has traveled to over 80 countries, and lives to make memories with his family.
