Pendulum
Mark Listes is the CEO and co-founder of Pendulum (pendulumintel.com), the intelligence layer powering the next generation of communications agencies and brands. In partnership with Burson, he also co-created Sonar - the AI backbone for how the world's most ambitious brands now see and steer the narratives shaping their reputation. Pendulum has been named one of Bloomberg's "Most Innovative Startups in America," with Listes and Pendulum being cited in The Washington Post, The New York Times, TechCrunch, GeekWire, VICE, and PRWeek.
A frequent voice on the AI reinvention of communications, Listes has a love for teaching the next generation of leaders, having often guest-lectured for the Arthur W. Page Society's Future Leaders program, the U.S. State Department, and the American Committees on Foreign Relations. His perspective is shaped by deep national security experience: he previously led policy at the U.S. Election Assistance Commission during the 2016–2018 foreign interference crisis and served as COO and chief of staff of the Department of Defense's National Security Innovation Network.
Listes holds a J.D. from William & Mary Law School and is a published author on critical infrastructure and election security.
