Dexter Fowler is a former Major League outfielder who played 14 seasons in MLB, making his mark as a dynamic switch-hitter and a leader both on and off the field. A 2016 World Series champion and MLB All-Star, Fowler was instrumental in the Chicago Cubs historic championship run, forever cementing his legacy in baseball history. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Fowler made his MLB debut with the Colorado Rockies in 2008 before playing for the Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Angels. Known for his speed, leadership, and clutch performances, Dexter was a fixture at the top of the batting order throughout his career.
Since retiring from baseball in 2023, Fowler has continued to thrive in the sports and business worlds. He co-founded 400 Ventures, a talent management and media company, and expanded his influence in broadcasting as an MLB studio and game analyst for MLB on NBC. In 2024, he achieved a personal milestone by earning his bachelor’s degree in organizational and professional communication from Penn State.
Beyond the broadcast booth, Fowler has embraced his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for sports. He is part of the ownership group for Premier League club AFC Bournemouth, sits on multiple boards of publicly traded companies, and is an avid golfer who competes in high-profile tournaments, including the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Tahoe.
Fowler currently lives in Las Vegas with his wife, Aliya, proudly embracing his role as a dance dad to their daughters, Naya and Ivy.
