Gabriela has 15+ years of creative agency experience, pitching, winning and successfully onboarding blue chip clients such as BMW, American Express and Verizon. She also has a history of successfully launching disruptive campaigns with an innovative lens – she led the launch of the BMW i vehicles, developed the first AR Direct Mail piece for American Express and helped lead Verizon into a new category, gaming, with an award winning campaign that earned Verizon credibility in this space.

Growing up in Argentina and Puerto Rico, Gabriela developed a true passion for global culture and defining what that means for brands. She applied her personal experience while at BBDO, where she helped spearhead the agency’s first global content model for GE, managing strategy and creative for 17 markets. She also led Microsoft Global device launches while at McCann and in her role as Global Business Director at KBS, she supported the Global CEO in helping execute the agency’s global vision, by acting as a Chief of Staff across five global offices.

Currently, Gabriela leads Madwell, setting the strategic vision for the full company and driving agency profitability. In addition to her role as President, Gabriela oversees Madwell’s DEI initiatives. She is committed to using her leadership to enact change and champion the voices of women and POC in hopes to make the industry more inclusive, diverse and representative, something she noticed early on in heer career was lacking.

When she’s not working, she can be found taking care of her 2 year old daughter, or working on her various side projects with her husband which involve a yoga studio in Manhattan and a campsite in upstate New York.
