Rich Kleiman is the co-founder of Thirty Five Ventures and longtime manager of Kevin Durant. Founded in 2016, Thirty Five Ventures incorporates the duo’s business entities across sports, tech, media, philanthropy and more.
The Thirty Five Ventures umbrella includes the sports business media network Boardroom; an investment portfolio with over 70+ companies, including Acorns, Coinbase, Dutchie, Overtime, Dapper Labs/NBA Top Shot, Postmates, Goldin Auctions and more; a film/TV arm with projects including the documentary seriesIn the Water (SHOWTIME), the Academy Award-winning Two Distant Strangers(Netflix),and the upcoming scripted series "SWAGGER"(Apple); equity partnerships with premium audio brand Master & Dynamic and digital media network Just Women Sports; a minority stake in the Philadelphia Union, and management of Kevin Durant's on-and-off court business.
Kleiman also serves as the Executive Director of the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation, helping oversee the development and expansion of the Durant Center in Maryland’s Prince George’s County. KDCF has also partnered with the College Track program in its first DC area presence, and has built or refurbished over 25 basketball courts throughout the globe.
Kleiman sits on the Board of Directors at New Heights Youth, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to sports-based youth development and education in New York City. He is also very active in volunteering and fundraising for Coalition for the Homeless. In 2013, Kleiman helped launch Roc Nation Sports, where he served as Vice President of the sports agency founded by Jay-Z. He worked with athletes such as Victor Cruz, CC Sabathia, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Robinson Cano, and more. Kleiman started with Roc Nation in 2008 as a music manager representing artists and DJ/Producers like D Nice ,Mark Ronson, Solange, Wale, and Meek Mill.Kleiman’s career in entertainment began at renowned production company Radical Media, where he was a music supervisor, as well as a producer on projects such as Jay-Z’s feature-length documentary Fade To Black.
