Greg Galbraith is the Senior Director of Brand Communications at Russell Athletic. In his role, Galbraith is leading Russell Athletic’s rebranding effort and spearheading an industry evolution for the historic athletic company. Since 2018, Galbraith has played an integral part in expanding the brand on a global scale through culturally relevant storytelling, collaborations, and retail strategies.
By repositioning Russell Athletic’s focus on consumer retail for new generations, Galbraith has successfully executed collaborations with KITH, HUGO BOSS, A$AP Rocky, and BAPE while influencing countless pockets of fashion, sports, music, and culture. He is managing the long-term strategy of the brand, driving the brand message globally, and helping to launch new products. Galbraith also led the opening of Russell Athletic’s first brick-and-mortar retail pop-up in New York City in 2019.
Galbraith’s storied career has merged his passions for creativity and culture while epitomizing advertising excellence. Before joining Russell Athletic, Galbraith spent years on the global marketing teams at Nike and Converse. At Converse, he helped propel the beloved Chuck Taylor All Star to iconic status. When Galbraith left in 2016, he had helped Converse reinvent itself and grow into a globally relevant brand with over $2 billion in revenue. Prior to his time at Nike and Converse, Galbraith worked on various brand accounts at the Team One Advertising agency and The Lambesis Agency. He is currently based in Bowling Green, KY.
