Lorraine Barber-Miller is an accomplished global Chief Marketing Officer recognized for building businesses and delivering exceptional financial results across both mature and growth markets. Having advanced through marketing, communications and sales disciplines both domestically and internationally, she has led marketing transformation and entrepreneurial business building in over 100 countries globally.
In February 2020, Lorraine was appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and E-Commerce Officer for Royal Philips based in Amsterdam where she leads more than 3,500 functional practitioners globally across all marketing, communications and e-commerce disciplines.
Previously, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for ADP with global end-to-end functional and financial responsibility. She centralized the function and advanced cross-discipline talent while building first-ever data-driven capabilities, while contributing to double-digit revenue growth in fiscal years 2018 and 2019. Lorraine also designed and launched the first-ever global purpose-driven re-brand in ADP’s 70-year history, along with its first-ever 360° integrated brand campaign leveraging artificial intelligence.
Formerly as Vice President for IBM's Global Business Services, C-Suite and Blockchain Emerging Technology Marketing across North America, Lorraine’s work was in pursuit of advancing clients' transformational agendas centered on artificial intelligence, cognitive and digital reinvention. In a client-facing capacity, she advised select Fortune 500 clients on marketing strategy, digital transformation and client experience design. Additionally, she drove the growth agenda centered on consulting partnerships with Apple, Microsoft, Salesforce.com, SAP, Twitter, Oracle and Workday.
Previously she served as Global Executive, Demand Generation and Client Engagement responsible for a team of 1,600 professionals and a $1.1 billion marketing budget, generating $18+ billion in annual revenue enterprise-wide. While working abroad, Lorraine served as CMO of Central and Eastern Europe for IBM based in Prague and grew revenue and profit annually with double-digit gains. Earlier, in the role as Marketing and Communications Director based in Dubai, she grew IBM’s market presence and launched its Smarter Planet agenda across 3 continents in more than 100 countries spanning Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
