As Vice President of Media Sales, Jill Smith is responsible for overseeing the Kroger Precision Marketing media sales team across Agency, Programmatic, and Emerging Businesses. Her role is to lead sales and engagement strategy to increase efficiency of the digital advertising industry and overall accountability for media investments. Prior to this role, Jill held the position of Director of Agency Partnership, responsible for the growth and development of Kroger Precision Marketing’s agency partnerships. Prior to 84.51°, Smith spent 7 years at NBCUniversal engaging brands across the NBCU News Group and Lifestyle divisions selling properties such as CNBC, TODAY Show and Bravo. In addition, Smith played an influential role in the development of NBCU’s Programmatic platform and championed cross-platform partnerships across NBCU’s TV & Digital properties. Before joining NBCU, Smith was a Group Sales Manager at News America Marketing responsible for driving CPG sales through In-Store and home delivered promotional vehicles. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University. She has been a member of the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association for 7 years and involved with the IAB.
