Amie has over 15+ years of experience within the shopper media industry and has worked with several top CPG companies, including but not limited to: Johnson & Johnson, Mars, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Colgate, Henkel, Conagra, Energizer and Hershey’s. A results-driven, innovative leader with extensive experience in all facets of retail marketing and advertising, Amie is the industry’s go-to expert on Commerce media, a practice she pioneered at UM. As Head of, this discipline—a role she has been in for nine years—Amie conceptualized, developed and launched UM’s first Commerce Media team, focusing on four areas: Connected Commerce, Digital Activations in Retail, Traditional Shopper Media and Commerce Media Consultancy.
As Amie was quoted in Adweek, “In 2020, Shopper became synonymous with Commerce.” In 2020 and 2021 Amie helped retail clients quickly recalibrate their strategies in response to the pandemic and shifting consumer behavior to meet increased consumer demand for digital shopping. Amie and her team worked with these brands to help them develop their new coined Commerce capabilities, which led to UM Shopper gaining six new clients in 2021 alone. Currently the UM Shopper team services 18 clients, with a total annual billing of $550 million.
Amie has been recognized as a 2021 Adweek Media All-Star, a 2020 Cynopsis Top Woman in Media, 2019 GenNext She Runs It winner, and most recently won a spot as a 2022 MAKER. She has served as an Effie judge for the Commerce awards over the last four years and has spoken at various industry events. Amie has also been a member of Chief, the nation’s premier mentorship program for women executives, since late last year.
An avid runner who has participated in over 10 marathons, Amie runs in support of Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to honor her friends and family who have lost their lives to these cancers. Amie also supports the National Blood Clot Alliance. Amie resides in Long Island, NY with her husband Rod, four-year-old son Connor, 9month old daughter Emma, and their dog Rigley.
