Christopher Martinez began his television sales career in 2014 with Katz Television Group, gaining experience in the linear TV space as a sales assistant before moving quickly into the role of Account Executive by the end of 2014. Working within Katz’s Eagle division of Television, Martinez represented Hearst Television’s stations in eleven markets from Sacramento, California to Fort Smith, Arkansas. In 2017, Martinez received the inaugural TVB Next Award for Television Sales. By 2018 he was promoted at Katz to Manager, Integrated Video and was responsible for selling Hearst Television’s OTT platform, Hearst Anyscreen, for all of the Katz-represented Hearst stations. In 2020, he was promoted to Katz’s Director of Sales for the Hearst stations in Jackson, Mississippi and Savannah, Georgia, overseeing the national sales effort for Katz’s eight regional offices across the country. He joined Hearst Television in 2021 in his current role of OTT/Director of Sales.
