Amazon Live Shoppable Videos
Zach Johnson, Director of Monetization, Amazon Live Shoppable Videos, leads the team working closely with brands and creators (Selling Partners, Influencers, Publishers, and Customers) — to develop marketing strategies utilizing Amazon Live and Video-on-demand (VOD). Sitting at the intersection of content, commerce and community, Amazon Live Shoppable Videos bring brands and products to life through real people and stories. This includes for high-traffic events such as Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Festival & Category brand sponsorships. These programs aid brands in understanding how video supports multiple customer decision journeys while we innovate on behalf of customers.

Zach joined Amazon in July 2004 as the sales leader for IMDb’s advertising team, which later lead to the development of Amazon Ads and the broader advertising portfolio. He has worked in the digital advertising industry since 1998 when he started with TMP Worldwide (Monster.com). He holds a BA from Gonzaga University and lives in Madison, Wisconsin with his wife Cynthia and their three children.
