Andy Kauffman is a game changing leader and next-generation marketing executive with a history of driving industry-firsts, digital transformation, and consumer engagement that has delivered materially impactful innovation and billions in revenue over 25+ years with world class brands. He is currently the Senior Vice President, Marketing Strategy & Science at the National Football League where he leads Marketing Strategy, Fan Insights & Personalized Engagement, Marketing Technology & Data Management, and fan activation across Outbound channels (Email, SMS, Push), Inbound Consumer Media channels, and Club Marketing efforts. Andy also currently serves as a Board Member for the Mobile Marketing Association.
Prior to joining the NFL, Andy spent 11 years with Marriott International, most recently as the Senior Vice President, Marketing Channels & Optimization. In this role, he oversaw Marriott’s global marketing transformation and go to market execution for Marriott Bonvoy and its portfolio of offerings including 30 hotel brands, Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Co-brand credit cards, and new emerging businesses.
Andy also was previously the Vice President, Digital Marketing & Marriott.com, serving as the General Manager for Marriott.com, overseeing the product strategy for the industry leading site while also leading demand generation programs, cutting-edge 1:1 efforts, and best of breed digital & social marketing for Marriott’s portfolio of 30 global brands.
Prior to joining Marriott, Andy spent 4.5 years with Expedia, Inc., most recently as the Senior Director, Product Marketing and Merchandising for Expedia.com. In this role, Andy led all merchandising and promotions for the site and managed the Cruise line of business. Additionally, he developed and oversaw marketing relationships with notable partners such as the National Park Foundation, NFL, Lucasfilm, and Walt Disney Home Entertainment.
Before joining Expedia, Andy spent nine years with the Walt Disney Company. Andy held several positions in various divisions including leading the eCommerce business (tickets, hotels, vacation packages) for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online, launching the Disney Cruise Line, and managing Alliance Marketing relationships for Walt Disney World.
Andy began his career as an Analyst with Andersen Consulting based in the New York Metro office.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Rutgers College and the School of Business.
Andy lives in Gaithersburg, MD with his wife Stephanie, 2 children (Mia & Nate) and their Maltipoo Daisy. Andy is an avid sports fan, traveler, and loves being a dad.
