Susanna Swartley is Global Head of Accounts within Excel Sports Management’s Brand Marketing division, where she leads the agency’s account management and partnership marketing practice. In this role, she oversees strategic alignment across teams and drives integrated, high-impact solutions for brand partners activating at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and culture.
Swartley guides initiatives spanning partnership marketing, hospitality, analytics, experiential, content, and social across a global roster of brand clients including Abercrombie & Fitch, AWS, Hennessy, Netflix, Nike, Spotify, Truist, and Verizon. She manages a team of account leaders supporting more than 25 brands across Excel’s offices worldwide and is based at the agency’s New York headquarters.
Prior to Excel, Swartley served as Head of Client Services at Translation, where she oversaw the retention and growth of a diverse portfolio of clients including AT&T, Diageo, the NBA, Meta, Big 12, Disney, and Ally. During this time, she also led State Farm’s NBA sponsorship for more than a decade, overseeing one of the industry’s most comprehensive league partnerships and helping set the standard for best-in-class activations with the NBA and its talent.
