Entrepreneur and lifelong foodie, Vanessa Phillips grew up in her family’s Chinese restaurants and bagel stores, being exposed to the restaurant industry at an early age. From Vanessa’s early childhood memories of eating Chinese takeout on Sunday nights with her family, she knew at an early age that her career would lead her in a culinary path.

After being diagnosed at the age of 20 with Celiac, Phillips began her professional career running and developing the gluten-free menu at the popular NYC restaurant she owned and operated, Friedman’s, and making gluten-free foods out of her studio apartment in Brooklyn that she delivered by bike. With her mission of creating quality comfort foods and snacks for all dietary lifestyles, she eventually shifted to the CPG space and founded Feel Good Foods.

As a female-owned, top-selling Frozen Snack and Appetizers brand in the U.S., Vanessa is only just beginning. Today, Feel Good Foods offers a wide array of globally inspired, nostalgic, comfort foods with chef-developed recipes that use fewer and better-for-you ingredients.
