For more than 25 years, Dave has been a part of several exciting campaigns spanning various categories and marketing environments. From Apple, to Pepsi, Dave understands how brands, and the companies that produce them, work. Dave began his career on the client side of marketing, working at Honda and Internet pioneer, Stamps.com where he helped lead a team that launched not only a new brand, but also a new category. In 2002, Dave made a switch to the fast-paced agency side of the business, working at such agency standouts as TBWA\Chiat\Day, Deutsch, and Media Arts Lab. He’s had the pleasure of working with such brands as DIRECTV, Pizza Hut, Dr Pepper, Snapple, 7UP, Infiniti, the GRAMMYs, Sara Lee, and ultimately Apple, where he oversaw a worldwide agency team of over 500 individuals across 26 countries. Dave recently joined Starco Brands, a CPG company dedicated to launching behavior changing brands, including their latest brand, Whipshots. As their newly minted CMO, Dave oversees all aspects of corporate and brand development. In his spare time, Dave is a professor of advertising at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication, volunteers with his temple, and can often be found on a youth soccer field or little league diamond.
