Bruno Cardinali is the Chief Marketing Officer for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. He’s been with the brand since March 2019 and led the launch of Popeyes Chicken Sandwich that sparked the famous Chicken Sandwich Wars, which through several successful campaigns become the biggest launch in QSR history. Prior to joining Popeyes, Bruno was the Head of Marketing for Latin America for Burger King, also part of the RBI portfolio. And prior to joining RBI, Bruno held several marketing roles at Unilever in Brazil, Mexico, Australia, and the United States for nearly 15 years. Beyond the success of Popeyes’ Chicken Sandwich, Bruno led many other award-winning campaigns like “Traffic Jam Whopper” in Mexico and has been recognized with several marketing awards for innovation & advertising. Bruno graduated from FAAP in Sao Paulo, Brazil with a degree in Advertising & Communications.
