Schoolhouse, the lighting and lifestyle goods company dedicated to the preservation of American manufacturing, closed its flagship retail location selling iconic lighting and homewares when the pandemic hit. The vertically integrated business shifted its focus solely to production and ecommerce, knowing the retail experience would need to be reimagined. This fall, the brand reopens its flagship showroom, evolved into a design studio and community hub that strategically integrates other small businesses to enrich the shopping experience.
